Pune: Following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Indian Army’s strong and strategic response through ‘Operation Sindoor’ is being widely appreciated across the nation. In support of the Army’s valiant action and to salute their courage, the Republican Party of India (Athawale) organized a grand ‘Bharat Zindabad Rally’ in Pune on Saturday.

The rally began with a floral tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s statue in front of the District Collector’s office. On this occasion, Sanghamitra Gaikwad, Sunita Wadekar, Mangal Rasge, along with several women members of the party, paid their respects to Bharat Mata.

Throughout the rally, the air resonated with patriotic slogans like “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” “Pakistan Murdabad,” and “Victory to the Indian Army.” One notable feature of the rally was that participants carried only the Indian tricolor—no political flags were seen—symbolizing national unity and patriotism.

Sanghamitra Gaikwad’s participation stood out as particularly impactful. Her confident presence, powerful voice, and patriotic speech filled the rally with renewed energy and enthusiasm. She stated, “The Indian Army is the true guardian of our nation. It is every Indian’s duty to be proud of them. We stand firmly behind our soldiers.”

The rally infused the entire city with a wave of patriotism, further strengthening the citizens’ pride and trust in the Indian Army.

The ‘Bharat Zindabad Rally’ was not merely a procession—it was a celebration of national pride. Sanghamitra Gaikwad’s dynamic leadership added a unique stature to the event.

Several prominent figures including Parshuram Wadekar, Shailesh Chavan, Mahipal Waghmare, Rohidas Gaikwad, Mahendra Kamble, Atish Gangurde, Ashok Kamble, Ashok Shirole, Mohan Jagtap, and many other party officials and workers attended in large numbers.
