The Tirhut Graduate Constituency seat has become vacant following the victory of Devesh Chandra Thakur in the last Lok Sabha elections from the Sitamarhi parliamentary constituency. Although there are several contenders from the NDA for this seat, it is argued that this seat, vacated due to Devesh Chandra Thakur’s resignation, rightfully belongs to the Brahmin community, making businessman Rupesh Pandey a strong candidate. Notification for the election to this Graduate Constituency seat is expected to be released this month. Pandey has expressed his desire to contribute to the employment of educated yet jobless graduates in the state, emphasizing that these energetic youths, if given proper opportunities, can significantly contribute to the state’s development.
